Fashion forecast

There have been many times that I have fallen in love with some new style to later find it pop up everywhere. So I'm going to use this as an experiment to see if any of my predictions come true. I'm not going to use any trends that I've seen in magazines or any other forecasting sources, just trends that I'm loving right now, seeing starting to pop up and I'm predicting will be the next big thing. Dalmatian print - I've started to see what I'm calling a dalmatian print popping up. It's spread to a few different items at H&M, but I've started to see it in ballet flats in several different stores and I'm expecting it to move on to other items soon.

Skulls - Skulls have been very popular in the urban/rock genre, but after Alexander McQueen's stunner skull clutches I'm starting to see skull elements popping up in other lines as well, such as these awesome stacking rings from H&M that bare a striking resemblance to McQueen's.

Spikes & studs - These have also been very popular embellishments for a long time, but after Sam Edelman's signature black spiked pumps it seems like every designer is putting their own spin on Edelman's spiked shoe. Now I've also started to see spikes and studs showing up in all different lines and items.

    I'm excited to see where this goes too! Daughter like mother??? When you want to buy something you've got in mind it's not available, and then 6 months down the road there it is on the shelf! Go figure.
